Economic & Environmental Impact Report

Golf occupies a critical place within the state of Colorado. The sport provides fitness, recreation, and time spent outdoors. It also drives economic impact and environmental stewardship. Colorado's 236 golf facilities are a defining economic driver through golf-related tourism, retail spending, increased residential real estate value, industry jobs, supply chain impacts, and charitable giving. From an environmental perspective, golf provides valuable ecosystem services for Colorado - from greenspace to surface water filtration to wildlife habitats, and more. This report shares the economic and environmental impacts from golf for the state of Colorado.

The report was produced through the Colorado Golf Coalition, including the Colorado Golf Association, Colorado Section of the PGA of America, Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association, and Mile-High Chapter of the Club Management Association of America, in collaboration with National Golf Foundation Consulting, Inc. and Radius Sports Group.
